Mr. Thankachan is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), a Member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) UK, and Member of Accountants & Auditors Association (AAA is the national accountancy body of the United Arab Emirates).

He is having post qualification experience of more than 3 decades and working experience with 30+ countries and 100+ nationalities. He has got extensive experience in Organizational Restructuring, Business Health Checks, Tax, Budgeting, Business Plans, Due Diligence, and Shipping. He is one of the Founding Partners of M/s Mathew & Thankachan Chartered Accountants, Kozhikode - Kerala, India established in 1988.
